What was once a dull and uninviting school library has been reimagined into a haven of nature, creativity, and tranquillity. The redesign embraces biophilic principles, bringing warmth, movement, and connection to the natural world into the heart of the school.
A custom mural of a sunset with flying geese sets the tone, symbolising unity, teamwork, and the idea that no one is ever left behind. Overhead, acoustic wings provide both sound control and a striking focal point, further accentuating the bird motif.
The flooring leads students on a gentle journey through the space, guiding them towards secluded, quiet reading zones. These areas are framed with planting and bookshelves, offering a sense of retreat and balance between prospect and refuge — spaces where learners feel both inspired and safe.
